I work with individuals, couples, and families to build a trusting, empathetic, and honest therapeutic relationship that leads to a safe place to grow and change. Trained in the systemic perspective, I believe understanding a person's whole story, both past and present, is essential to the process of change. I consistently draw from Structural Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and the Gottman Method. I am also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. This program uses a research-based assessment to help premarital couples prepare for marriage and married couples to enrich their marriage. I specialize in marriage preparation, marital and relationship support, divorce and co- parenting issues, and parenting struggles. I also have experience incorporating a faith-based approach into my work with clients when requested.
