Do you remember the confusion of your teen years and the worries about "growing up"? Stressful, right? Being a teenager and emerging adult can feel overwhelming at times. There is so much to navigate with school, family, friend groups, relationships, peer pressure, social media, identity, work, expectations, life goals...adulting! Sometimes all of this mental clutter can be paralyzing and keep your young person feeling stuck. As the carer of a young person, I can support you too. I am a Gen- Xer with a teen of my own. I appreciate how tricky it can be navigating the complexities of the newer generations. I've had the pleasure of working with young people for over 20 years. Whether you are a teen or care for one, we can sort through this clutter together. Let's figure out which thoughts, feelings and patterns are worth holding on to and which ones can be let go. We can also get creative and add some new ideas, goals and dreams into the mix!
