My philosophy and approach to counseling is to enable people to grow in the direction they choose, to solve problems and face crises. Counseling includes building a relationship through trust, and respect and to facilitate positive action. I will assist in helping facilitate positive action toward your goals. I will assist you in creating awareness, insight understanding, change in thoughts and self-perceptions. I believe a trusting working relationship is important and I strive to achieve that collaboration. I am comfortable working with individuals from diverse cultures and lifestyles.
