As a therapist, I am honored that you chose me to help you process your feelings. If this is your first time in therapy, welcome. No matter what the response has been from immediate friends, family members, or inner critic, I believe you are making a great decision by coming to therapy. Talking to some one you barely know can be a challenge and you may be uncomfortable, sad, angry, overjoyed, or embarrassed. I would like to reassure you that this process is here to help you grow.
