Counseling is a personal journey of self discovery and learning. It is a process that helps you gain greater understanding and awareness of yourself. I specialize in helping individuals with the following: Adjustment issues related to major life transitions such as: marriage, job changes, moving, starting school, death and divorce. Anxiety Disorders including: Obsessive thinking and compulsive behaviors, Anxiety following a traumatic event, Social anxiety, and Generalized anxiety/depression. Addictive Disorders such as substance abuse and dependency and other addictive behaviors. Womens issues are a large part of my practice including: postpartum stress, sexual trauma/abuse, and eating/body issues.
