As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I work collaboratively with clients to process painful emotions, navigate life-stressors, gain new insights, and take practical steps toward improved self-care and healthy pattern changes. My approach is insight-oriented, working from the assumption that the better you know yourself, the better you will function. Insight-oriented psychotherapy strives to teach you how and why you function in the ways you do, and to clarify your motivations. It gives you self-knowledge. Most of all, it gives you freedom to chose a different path and be the agent of positive change. No one should ever feel alone. We all share a capacity for resiliency and growth and one of the greatest healing agents is relationships. Therapy is a relational home where your voice can be heard and healing can take place.
