Therapy provides a space to speak freely, to listen to yourself in new and different ways, and articulate desires in your life that may be different from what is expected of you. Many people I work with are Asian American adults raised by immigrant parents who experience painful conflicts within their family of origin that lead to emotional distance, unspoken hurts, or even cutting off and estrangement. For couples, I can help you both step outside of your unhealthy relationship dynamic, and work together towards mutual respect, honest and nonviolent communication, and rediscovering your emotional connection and genuine love.
