I'm a committed and highly dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with excellent rapport-building skills honed through experience as a therapist, teacher, and life lessons. I understand how important the therapeutic relationship is to make progress with your goals. As a prior teacher in NYC observing the multiple hurdles my students had to overcome to make it to school, through the day, and through the year, I found myself prioritizing those needs. I came to understand the role inner-harmony or peace has on our minds and bodies, and this eventually led me to my role as a therapist. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual trauma, mood disorders, and grief and loss. Utilizing a strengths-based and integrative approach, I draw from evidence-based practices including cognitive-based, trauma-informed, EFT(tapping), EMDR, and mindfulness, in a safe and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts and emotions.
