There are times when we don't know what to do, what to say, how to react, or how to cope, but we do the best that we can. I will try to foster a safe and welcoming environment where we can work together on figuring out how to cope with distress. Together, we will set clear and achievable goals, and throughout this experience, you will be encouraged to build self-awareness and self-trust as you take things step by step at your own pace until you meet those goals. Using cognitive therapy skills, I will help you become aware of thoughts and self-talk and notice how they are impacting you so that you can challenge the unhelpful ones.
