Nona Zamiri is a licensed mental health counselor specializing in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and depression. OCD related disorders include body-focused repetitive behaviors such as trichotillomania (hair pulling), and excoriation disorder (skin-picking). Anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobias, social anxiety, and panic disorder. Nona has treated mild to severe cases of OCD in the intensive outpatient setting at the UF's Health's OCD specialty clinic. She treats both children and adults.
