Nora Josephson graduated with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2013 from the University of Denver and obtained a 2nd Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2021. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in CA and a Licensed Professional Counselor in CO. She is a foundationally trained DBT clinician and enthusiastic about applying DBT skills in her clinical work & own life. DBT is a skills deficit model, recognizing that we all need skills to navigate our lives more effectively. DBT skills include mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation & interpersonal effectiveness.
