Hey! My name is Oliver De Castro, a licensed marriage & family therapist in the state of California. I carry a very warm and firm approach to therapy. I have a person-centered focus and always will be meeting individuals where they currently and helping identify a path forward. I tend to use a cognitive behavioral (CBT) and narrative approach when working with individuals. When it comes to working with families or couples, I gravitate more toward using structural family therapy, as well as emotionally focused therapy. I have also been trained in prolonged exposure for trauma treatment, as well as trauma-focused CBT.
