I have been a therapist in St. Louis for the past decade. I believe that my job is to offer an open, respectful, nonjudgmental space for you to talk about thoughts, feelings, desires—to talk about anything that comes to mind. I have particular experience helping people who experience anxiety, depression, and trauma; those coping with life transitions; and those who wish to know themselves more deeply. I enjoy working with a range of people, and have found a particular affinity for work with artists, academics, doctors, and those passionate about their jobs; sensitive people; and those struggling with relationships. I have completed several years of training in psychoanalytic therapy, an insight-oriented approach that facilitates long-term change. I help patients not only to get short-term relief from symptoms, but to get the root of what symptoms mean and where they come from. I am regularly struck by the transformative power of curiosity and insight.
