Life is hard; just naturally, on its own. And the way we do life doesn't always make it any easier! It is my belief that the one thing that allows us to cope with this life is connection, both with ourselves and others. As a therapist, that is my underlying goal with every one of my clients, to help them connect in a deeper, more powerful way with themselves and others. I work with clients of all ages (5 years and up!) and my diverse educational experience allows me a unique perspective in working with individuals from all backgrounds and cultural groups. I specialize in couples and families, but also work with individuals I offer a non-faith-based approach to couples and family therapy, as well as trauma-informed practices. Many therapists use approaches that focus on our thoughts; I engage thoughts as well as approaches that focus on the body responses that are maybe not so easily controlled or explained by thoughts.
