Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Omar and I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based in Massachusetts. I have over ten years of experience working in the human services and mental health field. My experience includes working in long-term psychiatric facilities, providing psychotherapy in the community, and coordinating services both in the community and within institutions. I help young adults and adults rediscover their value in life and develop ways to thrive by learning how to deal with the difficulties of mental health challenges. During the first session, we will focus on introducing ourselves in a more informal manner and discussing the expectations and main focus that the client wishes to address. The therapeutic process is centered around the client, so my priority is to listen to what concerns them or what they want to improve.
