Hello, I’m Kyrzia Parker (she/her), MSW, LCSW, CDWF. I created One Starfish Counseling and Supervision to be a place where people come to heal, grow and explore. The name comes from The Star Thrower by Loren C. Eiseley. The story is about a child who tries to save all the starfish that were washed up after a terrible storm. While the child is throwing starfish back into the water, someone admonishes the child that they cannot save them all, cannot really make a difference. The child keeps throwing starfish back, stating, “Well, I made a difference for that one!” Soon others joined, and all the starfish were saved. View 8 Photos Life can feel like a storm at times, we are here to witness the challenges and help you get back to the water. Therapy is not a one size fits all journey. That is why I have curated a team of therapists that can help support you regardless of your journey. We believe in looking not only at the person in therapy, but the various systems that impact them.
