I love working with individuals and couples who want to bring meaning into their life and find satisfaction in spite of adversity and misfortune. I bring a spirit of optimism and a confidence in people's ability to learn and grow. My professional training in Clinical Social Work only enhanced my natural, easy way of connecting with people. I have been practicing psychotherapy in New York City since 1980 after receiving my B.S.W. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and my Master's degree at Carleton School of Social Work in Ottawa, Canada.
