My approach to therapy starts with the person or the people in front of me. I aim to collaborate on goals based on what each client wants; I have found that, much of the time, people are simply stuck in current patterns due to their personal histories and changing environments, and they need help finding new ways to exist in their situations. Oftentimes, people find that they are still working with parts of themselves that are stuck in the past. Each person knows themself and their parts best, and, together, we use this knowledge to move forward.
