About

I am a licensed psychotherapist studying psychology, psychotherapy, and its intersection with spirituality for almost a decade. We all experience anxiety and depression, and life loses meaning at different times, leaving us feeling stuck and without direction. All these symptoms are our soul's way of calling us back home to ourselves when we are astray too far and/or too long from our true selves. Psychotherapy is one of the first steps to finding our way back home. Only when we are at home within ourselves, we begin to feel at home in the world. In our work together, I strive to create a safe space, a "temenos" for us to explore the feelings, images, and sensations and seek to understand symbolically the patterns that have blocked the connection to the true self. Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is a matter of the heart as well as the head.
