My name is Pam Figoras and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been providing therapy to clients for over 20 years. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are seeking recovery from trauma, adapting to life changes, culturally competent LGBTQ+ care, and managing the symptoms of depression and anxiety. I have expertise in individualizing evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and General Psychiatric Management (GPM), which was recently developed to treat emotional dysregulation, suicidality, self-harm and depression. I help clients by meeting them where they are at and assisting in identifying what they would like to gain from therapy. I help by providing research-based education on mental health disorders, identifying and drawing on client strengths and using evidence-based practices to help clients achieve and maintain mental wellness.
