Over 30 years of experience has taught me a lot about how to best help the people I see. In my work, I try to listen, with empathy and respect, and to understand what has happened that has brought someone to my office. Clients often find that being able to talk freely in a safe, confidential relationship gives them relief and helps them to develop a clearer sense of the challenges they are facing. Together, the client and I identify the important stressors and conflicts and work on developing strengths and strategies to help cope better.
