I am an active, cognitive behavioral therapist who forms strong therapeutic partnerships, laced with humor, gentleness, thoughtful confrontation and the belief that individuals have the right,responsibility and capacity to decide how they want to live. I am both supportive and challenging. I help individuals examine their belief systems, identify strengths, work through barriers to growth and develop specific strategies for modifying their behavior. While I believe that the client is ultimately responsible for life choices, I am actively involved as a consultant, supporter, strategist and trusted advisor.
