I recognized that seeking therapy can have stigmas attached to it among some marginalized and minority communities that might feel unheard or misunderstood by therapists who might not fully understand their values, experiences, or background. I'm committed to breaking through these stigmas and barriers coming from these communities myself as a Muslim and child of immigrants.
