I received my BA in Psychology from the University of Iowa in 1980 and returned to receive my MA in Counseling and Human Development in 1992. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Iowa since 1998. I have over 30 years of experience in the counseling field and utilize a variety of cognitive/behavioral approaches in working with adults, adolescents, couples and families. Areas of experience include depression, anxiety and other mood disorders, ADD/ADHD, relationship, couple and divorce issues, stress and anger management, domestic violence, and substance abuse issues.
