What clients have taught me over 20 years in practice is that to be genuinely heard and understood is a lost art in our busy technological world. Whether we are deeply hurt due to relational trauma, painfully grieving the loss of meaningful attachment or trying to survive the distress that comes from living life with spouse/ child who has been diagnosed with ASD. In these tumultuous times we frequently yearn for "another" who can professionally "Hold us Well" & Provide a "Soft Place to Fall" while we sort out the tangled web of internal confusion. I work within an Emotionally Focused Theoretical Model. A focal point of my practice is in understanding familial Patterns of Attachment and helping Individuals & Couples Repair painful attachment ruptures. Attachment Injuries & resultant emotional dysregulation is a significant contributory factor in Couple's Distress & Mood / Anxiety Disorders
