About

Reflection and acknowledgement of our previous relationships are essential in developing new patterns and perspectives for our current and future relationships. A history of experienced distress, trauma, abuse, or betrayal from an intimate partner, friendship, colleague, and/or family member can have a dramatic affect on how we experience and approach new relationships. This may result in frequent conflict, fears of rejection, difficulties with trust, avoidance of vulnerability, and defensiveness. Recovering from a toxic relationship is possible. I am a person-centered therapist, and I enjoy adding humor and authenticity to therapy sessions. I support adults in the areas of anxiety, attachment, trauma, identity exploration, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. I also offer clinical supervision to individuals in the process of obtaining licensure within California.
