There are reasons we think, feel and do the things we do; sometimes feeling insane is a message that the life we are living is insane. And it's often generational. Getting "over it" isn't the goal; understanding and making peace with it is. Exploring what got us to this point, how repeating patterns can be "normal", and allowing the person we should have been able to be in the first place is possible. Having shame drive our lives because of who we think we are, or what we look like can end.
