Dr. Zimmerman has almost 35 years of experience working with adults, families, adolescents and children in a variety of settings. Dr. Zimmerman has particular expertise in the areas of ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression and relationship issues. While he often leans on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) strategies to help clients gain insight into how their thinking style impacts their emotions and behaviors, he is flexible in his approach, tailoring therapeutic strategy to the unique needs and preferences of his clients.
