I spent many years working in the field of addictions. Addiction is one of those pervasive afflictions that has the capacity to destroy the addict and those around them. Through therapy I have had the opportunity to work with broken relationships that have been able to be restored. I have worked with individuals suffering from depression and seen hope restored. I have seen individuals suffering from anxiety find a sense of peace again and find it within themselves to face those moments in life when they feel overwhelmed and unprepared. Life happens and none of us has the power to change that. The key is finding a place that is emotionally, mentally, and spiritually centered. A state of mind that allows for growth when the storms of life hit, that allows us to embrace the beauty of life even in those moments when it seems that very little is going our way.
