Paula believes that when people seek counseling they are stuck, not sick. Healing happens best when considering the individual experience of the whole person, as well as the systems that person is embedded in. Inherent in each person is the desire and agency to change, even when it may not feel accessible in the moment. Paula combines genuine curiosity with a warm and direct style that creates space for clients to feel seen, heard, and understood while being gently challenged to explore both the possibilities and pain in being human.
