Compassion and supportive listening is often missing when going through difficult circumstances. People sometimes feel alone and don't know where to turn. I consider it a privilege to offer a safe place for those facing adversity to explore their strengths and areas of needed growth. Understanding that exploring ones thoughts and feelings can bring a sense of vulnerability. I strive to create a safe, judgement free, space where people can develop a deeper understanding of self and create the life they desire. Commitment by the client to the "work," with a motivation for change is crucial for successful therapeutic intervention.
