My name is Anne Marie Allwine LICSW with P.E.E.P.S. Psychotherapy. P.E.E.P.S. stands for: P.eople seeking E.mpathy E.mpowerment P.ersonal growth and S.upport. I have worked in the mental health field for over 30 years in a variety of settings, most recently as the School Counselor for a private high school. I use a supportive strengths-based approach but also will challenge one's thoughts if they are irrational or self- destructive (CBT). I find it is also helpful to assist people to learn coping strategies and build skills that work for them.
