I specialize in couples/family therapy and any relationship problems between married or unmarried partners or between parents and their children. I've done extensive post-doctoral training in this area, I teach family therapy to clinical psych. graduate students and supervise them on their family therapy cases. I'm problem-focused and sensitive to cultural background and past family experiences as they relate to current difficulties. I'm respectful of my clients' perspectives, collaborative in my way of working, and always looking for strengths and un-tapped resources to help resolve issues.
