Allow me to provide you with an idea about my view on counseling others: while working for an agency several years ago, one of my social work colleagues had her caseload of clients increased substantially. When I asked her how she would manage more client’s, she replied with “oh I love meeting new people.” That philosophy is one that also share. I’m a big believer in the importance of rapport building. Working together and along side individuals is essential for a therapeutic relationship.
