As a therapist, who has been trained in the field of social work, I operate from a strengths perspective as well as meeting clients where they are at. Therapy should be a collaborative effort in which the client is an active participant. My role is to help my clients to gain insight about themselves, behavior patterns, and their relationships, and then utilize their strengths to overcome life's obstacles and reach the goals they have set for themselves. The ideal client for me, is someone who is motivated for change. I have experience working with diverse populations in various settings and enjoy helping people from all backgrounds.
