I am a licensed clinical psychologist and psychoanalytic candidate at Psychoanalytic Association of NY (affiliated with NYU Medical School). I have over 25 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and couples. My approach is broadly psychodynamic/psychoanalytic. Engaging in psychotherapy requires bravery. Talking about yourself to a stranger and facing your issues can feel daunting. Yet, psychotherapy can be exciting and illuminating as it leads you to discover more about yourself, such as why you keep doing the same thing over and over and what is holding you back from living more fully and freely.
