At Power in Play Therapy Services, LLC we specialize in play therapy work with children, adolescents, and young adults who are coping with depression, anxiety, aggression, grief, life transitions, and cross-cultural issues. It is our belief that there's real power in play. Our approach emphasizes individuals' inner strength and resources, and involves reflection and exploration, enhancing coping strategies and incorporating clients' interests, utilizing such techniques as storytelling, puppets, bibliography, dollhouse play, movement, to help them develop a more authentic personal narrative. For young adult clients, this modality of treatment means less talk and more play. We also offer sand play which can be transformative and less intimidating than modalities that focus more on talk therapy.
