I believe the relationship that develops between myself and my client is the catalyst for change. Therefore, finding the right connection is extremely important. I teach clients new and more effective tools in order to navigate their struggles and establish more positive coping skills.. Together we explore all areas of the client’s life, including nutrition and exercise. I incorporate CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) by examining distorted thought patterns and replacing them with more positive, productive thoughts. I believe in the importance of creating a secure and safe place to explore issues such as child and teen angst, identity issues in young adults, anxiety, depression, parenting struggles, LGBT issues, women’s issues and complicated grief.
