I will meet you where you're at. This is the approach I use to build trust and establish rapport while utilizing empathy and providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to discuss and process life changes, trauma, and transitions life may throw at you. My goal is to create a space where we can laugh and cry (& feel/process all the feels) while working together towards your goals. Sometimes laughter is the best remedy, and I use humor when clinically and ethically appropriate. I am client-centered, but just as a heads up, I will also be direct with you (if appropriate) in the most warm, empathetic, caring way.
