Life presents us with many opportunities through crisis, life transitions, or spiritual questioning to search for answers about ourselves and the world. I believe that through self understanding and gaining tools to cope with daily stressors, the impact of racism, classism and other "isms," as well as historical trauma, we can turn crisis into opportunities for growth, improved self esteem and improved functioning. I also work on strengthening romantic partnerships, family relationships, and friendships. I direct treatment toward individual needs and interests, utilizing CBT as well as psychodynamic, and creative therapies.
