I believe one of the bravest things you can do is start to understand your own story. In therapy with me I prioritize our therapeutic alliance, while we work on your goals, as I understand how vulnerable and unique the therapy relationship is. I do this by using a warm and empathetic approach and honoring that trust gets built slowly over time. I also try to bring in humor when appropriate and further allow my clients to feel like an equal partner in their treatment. I know there is no one size fits all to therapy and I want to make sure you and your unique needs are at the forefront of our work together.
