About
People come to therapy for a variety of reasons, including recent stressors, past traumas and relationships. I strongly believe that there is no issue too big or too small, and that every person, regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, or diagnosis should be treated with dignity and given access to effective treatment. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed or dissatisfied due to difficulties navigating the stress of daily life and the demands of relationships. I work with people to understand themselves better, heal from emotional suffering, and address areas of their lives that they are inspired to change. My work addresses issues and symptoms that include, but are not limited to relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, social stressors, life transitions, and multicultural/bicultural processes. Additionally, I have specialized experience in the treatment of trauma, acculturative stress, intergenerational dynamics and body image difficulties.
