People select me as a therapist due to my non-judgmental demeanor and 30+ years of experience. I believe it is important to be professional yet not clinically stuffy, humble yet confident and knowledgeable yet still teachable. I love life and people. The mistakes I've made have been my greatest teachers. Nobody's perfect. We all have problems....but we all have room for growth & improvement. It's a crazy world. The goals of being able to keep our feet firmly planted on the ground, in order to fulfill one's responsibilities in life, yet keep one 's 'hand in the sky', in order to experience joy are pragmatic, realistic and attainable. I developed my own form of therapy, 'Mind Construction', which is a form of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. It's designed to help people identify their strengths and deficits, w/regards to behavior, thoughts, feelings & core beliefs. It employs the Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual Model and incorporates the importance of culture.
