You’re tired of performing for yourself and others. You’re burnt out. You want to know who you really are beneath it all. As a queer, autistic, Filipino-American therapist in California, the space we share doesn't try to change you or make you conform. We talk openly about how oppression, ableism, and culture influence our stories, and we begin writing new stories that make more sense to us. I like to tell clients we "experiment" with unmasking, because it can take a while to feel OK without our masks. We move at the speed of safety, which is especially important in today's sociopolitical climate. I prioritize unpacking the fear and shame of being different. I am strictly decolonized, anti-genocide, and anti-racist in my practice.
