I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and co-creating an environment for you to share and feel your most authentic range of emotions, especially the ones you were taught to hide or felt too big to face. I prioritize working with our collective process in the room so that you may better understand the experiences and familiar narratives that have left you feeling stuck, unheard, or disconnected in order to create room to explore and connect more deeply with yourself and others. I often work with trans and queer community and folks with marginalized relationship structures/embodiments. My style is highly relational and focused on connection to the past through curiosity in here and now. I use a contemporary relational psychoanalytic lens, and am informed by queer and post modern theory. I have received training from the MN Psychoanalytic Society and Institute as well as sexual health and gender specialty supervision and training (ASSECT.)
