About
Life can be overwhelming at times and seeking help and support takes courage. As a multicultural psychologist, I provide therapy to adults hoping to better understand themselves and their unique experiences. I use a collaborative approach to highlight strength and resilience while assisting clients in learning to manage depression, anxiety, body image dissatisfaction, racial trauma, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. I have training and expertise in working with diverse populations, including sexual assault survivors, religion/spirituality, racial/ethnic identity, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and gender identity. I value empowerment and validation and aim to use a culturally aware approach that provides a safe environment to explore and understand emotions and patterns of behavior. My clinical work is influenced research, evidence based practices and my experiences as a first-generation, Black/Caribbean-American woman.
