You might feel stuck in your head, burdened by past experiences or uncertain about who you are or where you're headed. Many of my clients come to therapy navigating trauma, anxiety, or depression. On the outside, they often appear high-functioning, but inside, they feel overwhelmed. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the nonprofit sector and studied marketing, always drawn to how people think, behave, and connect. Over time, this curiosity about human nature—combined with a deep desire to support others—guided me toward mental health care.
