About
If you’ve learned to survive by staying busy, working harder, or always moving forward, slowing down can feel uncomfortable or even unsafe. You may function well on the outside while feeling internally dysregulated: constantly on edge, emotionally shut down, restless, or exhausted from carrying so much for so long. Running from difficult memories or emotions may have once helped you cope, but over time, it can make it harder to feel present, grounded, or connected to yourself and others. Many of the people I work with are capable, driven, and resilient, yet feel stuck in survival mode.
