If your young child is struggling with anxiety, behavioral problems, social relationships, or other challenges, I can help. And if you worry about how to set clear limits and communicate lovingly and effectively with your child, I can support you, too. My warm and friendly approach to play therapy and parent coaching will provide the opportunities your family needs to build confidence, new skills, and stronger relationships. I practice relationship- and play-based therapy with children ages 3-8 years old and their families. This approach lets the child take the lead in working through difficult feelings and impulses. With parents of children ages 2 1/2-6, I use Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to teach new skills and coach until parents achieve mastery.
