About

I am a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed school counselor. I have a diverse portfolio that includes specializing in attention deficit issues, anxiety, depression, and general life stage adjustment, which includes family and youth counseling. I am also experienced in career and life transition counseling. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State, where I also studied women’s issues. After working as a social worker for more than 10 years, I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling and School Counseling at Oakland University. My counseling approach is holistic, with an emphasis on a healthy system environment that utilizes relational, collaborative, strength-based, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and emotionally focused approaches to therapy.
